At the Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo
Continuing itʻs enduring commitment to protecting, preserving, and perpetuating the Hawaiian culture, the evening is a partnership with Island Breeze Productions and Hālau Ka Lehua Pua Kamaehu, and Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo. A tribute to music, hula and the various Polynesian cultures that make our home so special. Hosted in the legendary CROWN Room with a special Hō'ike style lūʻau show, telling stories of Polynesia, Hawai'i Island and Hilo town.
The Grand Naniloa Hotel in Hilo was inspired by the rich and deep-rooted history of Hilo, the property's location, all the musicians and Hālau who have graced us with their vignettes from various parts of Polynesia; and of course, Hilo storytelling through the hands and expressions by hula dancers and beautiful mele (melodies) by the musicians.
A delicious dinner....a beautiful show...an evening of songs and hula telling the moʻolelo (stories) of Hilo.
