Haleo Luau - Monday & Friday Evenings
There is no better way to experience Hawaii than by attending a luau! On Monday and Friday evenings, beginning November 15th, you can join us for a true adventure of a lifetime. Events by Island Breeze presents a family friendly show that takes place at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa, at Keauhou Bay. Dancers, musicians, delicious food buffet, open bar, and storytelling teach you the rich history of the beautiful islands of Hawaii and the people that lived there. The Big Island Revealed Guidebook of Hawaii, has rated the Haleo Luau the “Best Luau Show On The Island!” You will learn so much about the culture, clothing, music, food, instruments, dancing, etc.. You will want to jump up and learn to hula dance or learn how to play the ukulele!
The evening begins by meeting the dancers and performers prior to the show. You will learn more about the language, stories and can even play traditional games and join in on activities. See the dancers hula skirts, leis, headpieces, musical instruments, ukuleles and more close up! Take lots of pictures to share with others when you get back to the mainland, so they can see what the great Hawaiian life is all about too!
Next, sit down for an unbelievable luau buffet dinner featuring mouthwatering entree options such as pork, ahi poke, beef, locally caught fish to name a few! A wide variety of delicious salads and fresh vegetables offer nice additions to the entree. But, that’s not all! Save room for a thick slice of Kona coffee chocolate cake, pineapple upside down cake and more! Coffees and teas are also included with the buffet. And, of course, there is a hosted bar.
Sit back and enjoy the sound of the waves, the gentle ocean breeze, and become enthralled in a lively, beautiful show, performed by skilled hula dancers, musicians, storytellers, fire dances, and much, much more! The Haleo Luau has four different packages to choose from ranging from $109.00 to $137.00 for adults and $57.00 to $72.00 for children 6-12. All of the packages include a shell lei greeting, preliminary activities, open bar, buffet dinner and Polynesian show. For an upgraded experience, you can reserve the Ali’I or Lehua Packages, that include discounted fresh flower leis, photos, preferred and expedited seating, seating in the front section and priority access to the buffet.
